Landfill

Landfilling with a concept

The Häuli landfill accepts legally compliant mineral materials that belong to one of the material groups listed below in accordance with the guidelines of the “Ordinance on the Prevention and Disposal of Waste” (VVEA).

The Häuli landfill in Lufingen is a state-of-the-art landfill.

We work with the latest equipment and adhere to the laws and standards. The materials delivered are registered and checked. An innovative landfill control system makes it possible to track the storage of materials precisely.

Type C (residual materials)
Residues from production/industrial plants and other sites that can be declared as residual materials based on the current version of the VVEA.

Type D (slag)
Residues from waste incineration plants. Approximately 20 percent of the weight of the waste produced (household waste, industrial waste) leaves the waste incineration plant as slag and must be disposed of in a landfill approved for this purpose.

Type E (reactor materials)
Contaminated materials from construction sites that can be declared as reactor materials due to their high carbon content, among other things.
